October 17 saw Ningbo Agricultural Academy signed an agreement with Xiangshan County. According to the agreement, a new grape reserve base will be set up in Xiangshan. It will be the third base after another two in Zhenhai and Yinzhou.
Hu Qingda, director of Xingda Fruit and Vege Cooperation said that Grape had been put into market in massive number in recent years. Grapes were easy to become rotten and it was difficult to reserve grapes, which resulted in low price. What’s more, grapes in Southern China are quite different from those in Northern China in that grapes in Southern China riped in hot weather and when there were typhoons, which showed the necessity of reserve technology.
